Thoughtfully designed & carefully sewn by Nova Scotia Massage Therapist - Melanie Thomas of Shallow Waters in Pugwash - these Shoulder Bolsters are an essential tool for positioning a client comfortably. When used below the client's shoulders while in a prone position, the glenohumeral joint is gently placed in an ergonomically correct position and interscapular tension is alleviated.
These bolsters are filled with 100% recycled polyester fiber that allows them to be both flexible enough to adapt to the client's resting position - & - firm enough to offer support. The polyester fill fiber is also hypoallergenic, odorless, mold and mildew resistant.
The outer covering is made of PUL (Polyurethane Laminate) which is a super soft, breathable, flexible and waterproof fabric. It is tested to withstand 300+ washings, manufactured with no harmful chemicals or finishes and 100% eco-friendly. PUL is certified free of lead, phthalates, BPA and many other harmful chemicals; it's 100% CPSIA certified and flammability tested.
